Catering Sales Manager
Urban Affair NYC is seeking experienced, goal-driven Catering Sales Managers to grow our book of business in both corporate and social/wedding markets. This role is ideal for individuals with a proven sales track record, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and nurture strong client relationships. While you will collaborate with Event Specialists for execution, your core focus will be securing new clients, maintaining existing relationships, and achieving revenue goals through proactive planning and outreach.

Key Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed annual sales targets
- Generate leads through research, cold calling, and prospecting
- Actively pursue new clients and opportunities in the NYC market
- Work with the Sales Director to target and close new business
- Develop long-lasting client relationships with strong retention
- Understand client goals and objectives to craft strategic proposals
- Create tailored proposals that meet client needs and align with company standards
- Track and maintain all communications and follow-ups in CRM systems
- Comfortably make phone calls and lead proactive client conversations
Essential Functions

Experience & Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of sales experience in catering, restaurants, or hospitality
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in hospitality or a related field
- Proficiency in Catering Software, CRMs, Microsoft Office, and Excel
- Deep understanding of food, beverage, and fine dining service
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to accurately assess client needs and deliver exceptional service
- Experience in wedding/mitzvah or other social events (required for social sales track)
